Our group mainly work on spin systems especially on models of magnetism. Our research Interests can be given in the following headings:
- Phase transitions and thermodynamic properties of magnetic models in various geometries (thin film, nanoparticle, nanotube) effects of the various disorders such as random bond distribution or random field distributions
- Dynamical phase transition models
- Entanglement in spin systems
- Magnetocaloric effect
- Calculations about real magnetic materials
- Improved effective field formulations
- Artificial neural networks
We are using following methods in solutions of these systems:
- Mean field theories
- Effective field theories
- Monte Carlo simulations (Metropolis, Swendsen-Wang and Wang-Landau algorithms)
- Artificial neural networks
- Genetic algorithms and similar optimization algorithms
- Quantum Monte Carlo simulations
